Hi. I'm completely new to Flash and Papervision but very keen on learning from your examples. The problem is when i run the AS with flash i just get a blank output. I use the class names in the flash file to reference the AS but i don't get anything. What do i have to do to get your examples working on my machine? Thank you very much for your help. Chris.

@dave
You need to have FlashDevelop setup correctly. There is a tutorial that goes through setting up FlashDevelop here:
http://www.devmag.org.za/articles/27-FLASH-FOR-FREE/

There is a PV3D FlashDevelop project I made before:

Nice examples. Cant figure out why I'm getting a blank white screen with them after they have compiled? Pretty sure my dir set up is correct, and have tried a few different versions of PV3D...I'm using FlashDevelop. Any ideas?
cheers.

@Vivek - Glad you found some of the examples useful. Not sure of any books but there are some blogs for example http://pv3d.org and a mailing list for PV3D at:
http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/papervision3d_osflash.org
and yes there should be some more examples using MovieMaterial. I plan to make some soon.

@nikhil - the camera movement I got partly from here:
http://www.nabble.com/camera.orbit-issue.-td18513695.html
and also from some of the VectorVision examples here :
http://blog.barcinski-jeanjean.com/vectorvision/
So I just experimented with these to replace camera orbit to allow some hovering around an object with a few lines of code.

Hey dehash great work.
Can you help with the camera algorithm you use, I am not able to understand that. If you can post something regarding handling camera in papervision that would be great
